WELCOME to Clair de Lune!

We are a highly advanced and literate wild horse roleplay site, and with a fantasy twist as well. Instead of ordinary horses, the denizens of Clair de Lune obtain wondrous powers and abilities when bathed in the light of the full moon, ranging anywhere from extraordinary colors and markings to the power of flight and even dissipating into mist.

Weather: Spring is now in full bloom, and alost everywhere you go you can see flowers blooming, budding trees, and birds chirping. The Marshes remain the only exception, although even here it is less gloomy and oppressive. Breeding season is now in full swing.

General

  • You are expected to be polite to and respect all members at all times. Handle disagreements civilly and off the roleplay forums.
  • Do not steal anything from another member, whether it is ideas, names, or anything else. Admin will decide what does or does not count as stealing.
  • Respect all members' privacy.
  • You are expected to use proper Engish at all times, in or out of character. Meaning, proper spelling, capitalization, grammar, etc. Slight typos every once in a while are forgiven but no chatspeak allowed.
  • No spamming, double-posting, or bumping on boards. Admin can bump boards for you if you need to for a specific reason, and you can just edit previous posts if you have something new to say.
  • Respect the staff and their decisions. No rudeness or rants at them will be tolerated. If you have a suggestion, post it civilly.
  • Mild swearing is allowed, but nothing excessive. The admin will decide what does or does not count as excessive swearing.
  • If you have to be absent for two days or more, then please let us know on the Announcements board. Randomly disappearing members is not something we like to deal with. If you have to go for unforeseen circumstances, then let us know when you come back.
  • At all times, you may have a total of up to four characters. You must have a complete list of all your characters in your signature, with their names and ranks clearly listed.


Roleplay

  • Post at least five complete sentences per roleplay post. This is a literate to advanced roleplay forum, so if you can't do this, then most likely you're not the kind of material we're looking for. It's not difficult.
  • No powerplaying or godmoding. You should know what these mean, but if you don't, ask an admin. Staff will decide personally what does or does not count as powerplaying or godmoding. If you find that you absolutely have to powerplay a little bit for whatever reason, then you will have to obtain permission from that character's owner. Doing so without permission is a very big offense, so you repeating it twice = automatic boot.
  • Put some semblance of OOC (out of character) when you're not roleplaying.
  • Mild swearing is allowed in roleplay, as long as it's tastefully executed.
  • If you plan to have graphic content in your roleplay, make sure you put ample warning in the title.
  • If someone starts a private roleplay, it is common courtesy to not intrude unless you are invited or iven permission.
  • In roleplays with three people or more, please develop a certain order or replying, so that no one gets left behind. If one person has to leave for whatever reason, it is considerate to stop and wait for them.
