Here lies the fair land of Clair de Lune, blessed with many rolling plains, lush valleys, and swift rivers, as well as some of the most extraordinary denizens to be found. The terrain is mainly separated into five sections: the Neutral Plains in the northeast, the Dark Marshes in the northwest, the Light Valley in the southwest, the open territory in the southeast, and the claiming areas in the center. In the far southeast corner is the Battledrum Plateau, isolated from the rest of the world by its characteristic sheer cliffs, and on either side lie the Serenity Forest, which conceals the Whisper Falls in its midst, and the Foaling Thicket. The two main rivers in the land are the Enchanted River, claimed for the most part by those of the Light alliance, and the Seraph River, which is considered open territory; both empty into lakes, the Diamond and the Angel.

All this is accessed by the Moonlight Pass in the north, held to be the only entrance to this sanctuary, walled in on all sides by towering mountains that none can seek to pass. However, this conception of sheer impassable mountains appears to be false, as there seems to be a little flaw in that theory...
